The NORTH AMERICAN PREMIERE of the BOOK OF NEGROES at CITF

On Tuesday night, THE BOOK OF NEGROES held its North American premiere at the Canadian International Television Festival at the tiff Bell Lightbox in downtown Toronto. A Gala event, the stars of the series – AUNJANUE ELLISCUBA GOODING, JR., LOUIS GOSSETT, JR.LYRIQ BENT and ALLAN HAWCO (among others) – strode the red carpet and answered questions in front of a sold out crowd.

The series, which Mr. Gossett calls “Better than Roots and Twelve Years a Slave“, is produced by Conquering Lion Pictures and will be aired January 7th, 2015 on the CBC, and February, 2015 on BET.
